About security
I have done (and still continuously do) everything to minimize attack surface to extreme minimum and same time to maximize geopolitical resilience by using only products from EU and services from EU and EEA. Details I keep on my own secret for before mentioned security reasons. But below is some limited general information about that topic.
Main servers are decetralized into certified data centers in several different EU and EEA countries. Physical server sites are protected with multi-level real-time access controlled sections with video camera surveillance. Compliant with the GDPR, with full protection from extraterritorial laws such as the CLOUD Act from the USA. Historically proofed 99.999% uptime. Servers running on 100% renewable energy. I use a worldwide domain registrar from EU with more than 1000 top-level-domains available and a large network of accreditation.
Sites frontends are cached and they are static and not using any server side scripting language like PHP.
For backends I use multifactor authentication for any TOTP compatible authenticator application (for example Proton Authenticator) and GDPR compliant invisible enhanged Captcha algorithm from EU. Before accepting new connection server checks user IP-address automatically against lists of dangerous addresses and hostile physical geolocations and TOR exit points.
Backend servers are geoblocked for at least but not limited to all queries from USA, China and Russia.
GDPR and data transfers outside of the EEA
I don't use Google Analytics because that would be against European Union GDPR rules of transferring your data outside of the EEA. Most companies does this mistake often.
Static pages does not use any cookies either. Why should them?
Server compliancy
Security level of the server which is serving backend is NIST compliant. Probably also compliant with other standards, but NIST standards are the ones that I have learned and studied the most. It's just a name for the office standardizing more secure digital life for everyone. Yes, I know, it's from USA. Compliancy means that my servers are full compatible with those standards.
Server keeps SSL certificates up-to-date automatically.
Server uses encryption algorithms designed to withstand cyberattacks from a quantum computers. This is combined with multifactor authentication and browser fingerprinting. Quantum attacs are upcoming future threat where I'm already prepared.
Bug bounty program
A bug bounty program is a deal offered by Fursite.eu by which individuals bug bounty hunters, white hat hackers or ethical hackers can receive recognition and compensation for reporting bugs, especially those pertaining to security vulnerabilities.
After you got granted permission from me and after you found a new unknown bug or security vulnerability from this site or it's related servers you are legitimate to get free webhosting and/or free domain for a year.
Everyone is more than welcome to join this bug bounty program. I happily give free webhosting when it makes this place even more secure for everyone. But, please remember to ask written permission before you start.
Already found and fixed bugs and vulnerabilities are not listed anywhere because it would be a security risk. And of course if there is some known bug or vulnerability then I have already taken servers offline and I'm currently fixing it.
Common phrase "it's a known issue" doesn't exist here.
